“The relationship between man and machine is fundamentally changing”

Two months after its kick-off, around 400 Take the Lead executive education students gathered in Brussels for the inspiration session. The goal was to find out about concrete applications for AI and new digital technologies at close hand. “This day exceeded my expectations,” says Peter Monsieurs from Pontis. “What I found most interesting is that you don’t need to have a huge amount of technological knowledge, experience and budget to start working with AI. And that certainly opens up options.”

“Take the Lead will help you tackle disruption before it tackles you.”

“The Tomorrowland of academic learning programmes”, is how Frederik Delaplace (CEO of Mediafin) described Take the Lead. And judging by the participants’ reactions – “Greatly inspiring”, “I’m looking forward to it”, “I am ready to get started right away” – the programme began in suitable manner. What was presented to the public? A spectacular digital success story from Belgian soil, a leadership analysis of Facebook's recent change of direction, a lively panel debate and above all: plenty of encouragement to grab the digital bull by the horns.
