If you’ve decided a Master in Business Administration (MBA) is the right next step for your career, now it’s time to check if you meet all the requirements to apply.
Business schools all over the world set out criteria for joining their MBA programmes – taking into account professional experience so far and your academic profile. To apply for an MBA, you generally need:
• A degree from an accredited institution
• A valid admissions test score – either GMAT or GRE or depending on your prior degree, a test organised by the business school of your choice
• At least three years’ full-time relevant professional experience for a full-time programme, 4 years for an Executive MBA programme, and 10 years for a Global Executive MBA programme
You also have to pass an English language proficiency test – unless you’re a native speaker or studied an undergraduate degree in English language.
What about Vlerick’s MBA programmes?
Of course, Vlerick MBA candidates need to meet the academic and professional requirements set out above. We also offer our own admissions test – the VBAT – which you can take instead of the GMAT or GRE. More importantly, however, we’re looking for people who will become part of our vibrant community and help to make the MBA a life-changing experience. Our student groups are diverse – filled with people with an international outlook and great leadership potential who are ready to invest in their future. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you .
